Martin Clunes and his film crew spent a few days over Easter 2016 on Mundoo Island Station filming part of his new documentary series “Islands of Australia”.
The documentary will feature 12 interesting islands from around the country and we feel privileged to have been selected to feature as one of those islands, the only island in South Australia.
Martin enjoyed mustering cattle on horseback, including some water crossings. We also mustered our wild horses into the stockyards in a rampaging stampede!
Martin and his crew were fabulous to work with and we are sure they captured on film the true essence of our beautiful island cattle and sheep station in the heart of the Coorong.
If smiles are anything to go by, I think Martin enjoyed his visit to Mundoo Island Station!
We look forward to the documentary going to air in September or October on Channel 7 in Australia and ITV in the UK.
